English Whisky

Hicks & Healey claim to be the pioneers of the English whisky revival, beginning distillation in Cornwall in 2003, but it was the opening of the St George’s Distillery in Norfolk in 2006 that really signalled the rebirth of English whisky.

Now whisky is being made in neighbouring Suffolk, at the Adnams micro-distillery in Southwold, in Battersea at The London Distillery Company and, very soon, at The Lakes Distillery in northern Cumbria.
