The misuse of alcohol can lead to immense harm and we want to make sure that the great drinks we stock are enjoyed responsibly as part of a healthy lifestyle.
We support the DrinkAware initiative and, as part of the Pernod Ricard family, are involved in a number of other programs to raise awareness of issues around alcohol and support those who are affected by them.
Our
Age verification
The Whisky Exchange is based in the UK, where you need to be over the age of 18 to buy alcoholic drinks and cannot buy drinks for those under that age. We also ship overseas, to countries with a variety of regulations on what age you need to be to buy alcohol.
When you place an order on our site, we may perform searches to ensure that you are not breaking regulations either in the UK or in the country we are shipping to, whether it is the UK or elsewhere. If we have reason to believe that you are breaking regulations (for example, if you are under 18 in the UK) then we will contact you and cancel your order as necessary.
If we ship to you and there is no one available at delivery time who can legally receive the parcel, then you will be responsible for any costs applicable for redelivery or returning the parcel to us.
